“By creating compelling content, you can become a celebrity.” ~Paul Gillin
Isn’t that so true? Have you seen marketers rise to celebrity status as a result of gripping and persuasive content? Each day I see my blog’s Alexa ranking increase due to content being shared on Social Media sites and other article sites. Article Marketing can be a very powerful strategy, especially if it is used appropriately and effectively.
It’s one thing to create your compelling content, but then what? How do you get the traffic to your website? You can’t just post it on your blog and “hope” people show up to view it, right? So, I am going to share my process on article syndication so you can create a “buzz” and become a celebrity online!
Once you have completed your keyword research and have written your amazing article (which I know you will), the steps are as follows:
Step 1 – Post content on your blog or website.
Step 2 – Once your new content is posted on your blog, use the Onlywire Plug-in to bookmark your article/site to many different sites, including Facebook, Twitter, Delicious, Digg, Stumbleupon, Plaxo and more. To learn more about Onlywire, go to http://www.onlywire.com.
Step 3 – Depending on the article content, the next step is to upload the article to www.ezinearticles.com. EzineArticles has pretty strict and specific regulations; read through these before your try to get your article approved. This site is ranked extremely high and it is important to get your content approved and on this site for better ranking for your article and your website/blog.
Step 4 – To promote the article further, I create a video to generate additional “buzz” about the content and my website. This can be as easy as a 30-second clip with a screen shot of your blog/article on your website. Try to create a video that will intrigue your viewers to want to know more about the entire article.
Step 5 – Once the video is created and uploaded to You Tube, I use Facebook and Twitter to further promote the video, which in turn, will endorse the article and get traffic to the article/website.
Step 6 – Upload the video to Traffic Geyser. Traffic Geyser allows you to submit your videos to multiple sites at once (instead of doing it site by site). The power of online video will drive traffic to your websites, and therefore, create leads and more importantly, sales. Traffic Geyser automates the process of submitting videos and syndicates your content to social media sites in minutes. Learn more about the power of marketing online with video!
Step 7 – The last step of the process is to use the Automatic Article Submitter. The Automatic Article Submitter submits to hundreds of article directories (the high quality article directories). This software automatically creates and confirms article directory accounts for you and also takes care of confirmation emails. You can “spin” your articles with a dictionary of 20,000+ related words. And, your articles are checked and keyword analysis is provided and the articles are spell-checked BEFORE you submit the article.
Step 8 – This step will be automatic after you set this up the first time. There is a very cool plug-in (Thank you David Wood for sharing!) for your blog called Tweet old post. This plug-in (which is configurable) will randomly tweet your posts. And, if your Twitter account is connected to Facebook, anything you “tweet” on Twitter is automatically posted to your Facebook account. This is a perfect way to “recycle” old posts that may not have been viewed.
So, are you ready to be an Internet “Rock Star”? Use the steps and tools above and you will be amazed at how much traffic can be generated. The final step… be consistent. To create Rock Star status, consistency is key. This process needs to be repeated daily.
To your success and dreams (and “Rock Star” status),

Note: Utilize the above Article Marketing Strategy and rock on!

Great points raised here. I am thankful to you for that, nevertheless you deserve more thanks than that. I have colour blindness. I mainly use Opera web browser and regard a number of sites are challenging to grasp thanks to a incautious range of colors used. However, here, as the range of colors is beneficial, the design is extremely tidy and pleasurable to comprehend. I don’t know whether it was a planned and conscious attempting, or just the ‘luck of the draw’, but I nonetheless thank you.

What I’ve found is that we all want to be heard. It’s more about sharing as we’re learning than teaching what we know. That leaves folks a whole lot more room to talk.

Thanks for the info, I don’t read a lot of blogs on a daily basis but I will be bookmarking yours and checking back often. Also, I like the template you have on this site, it makes it easy to get to what I am looking for and doesnt distract me to the point that I have to leave,. Did you style your comments like this or is this how your theme was setup originally?

Andrea,
Love the steps to social media stardom….they all make perfect sense for massive exposure! One note I hope to get your feedback on, I use onlywire to bookmark and I pay for Traffic Geyser but on both of these sites I seem to get a 30-40% failure rate on submissions to the different sites….I've tried working w/both TG and OW support techs but havent gotten any satisfaction. (I'm using the TG pre-config profiles to submit) Any suggestions?

If you don't want the expense of Traffic Geyser ($97 a month) then you can use http://www.tubemogul.com/ They deliver videos to many of the most popular sites for free (but not as many as Geyser and with some restrictions on bandwidth usage per day).
Great article that has crystallized what I was on the verge of doing myself. Thanks for the useful resources as it's always a pain to discover everything by yourself and a recommendation is much appreciated.
