To Succeed in MLM, You Have to Believe in MLM!

In order to succeed in MLM, you have to believe in MLM. That sounds so easy, doesn’t it?

This week, I am helping out with the music at our church’s Vacation Bible School program and last night we taught the kids a memory verse about believing in Jesus and you will be saved. In order to help them memorize the verse, we also sang a song… and the lyrics went a little like this:

“I believe, I believe, I believe, I believe in Jesus….”

As we taught the children this song, we had them tap their temples and nod as they were saying believe (to reinforce learning of the verse and the importance of believing). And, guess what??? They were getting it!

As I was driving home after VBS, I started thinking about believing and how belief is so critical to many things, including the Tooth Fairy, Christmas, and network marketing.

So, let’s start with the Tooth Fairy…

Recently, my 10-year old daughter lost a tooth (one of many) and as my husband was putting money under her pillow (yes, people, the Tooth Fairy is Mom and/or Dad!!!), she woke up and saw him! BUSTED!!! What were we to do? We have another daughter who is 5 and she has yet to lose a tooth. The next day when my 10-year old asked, “Mom, are you and dad the tooth fairy?” My response was: “You need to believe to receive.” End of story.

Now Christmas is another story… I absolutely love the movie, The Polar Express. Have you seen this movie? If not, you need to! The story is about a little boy who is looking and hoping for belief in the true spirit of Christmas. The boy receives a special bell from Santa’s sleigh and only those who believe can hear the beautiful sound of the bell.

The last line of the movie (which is also the last line of the book) goes like this: “At one time, most of my friends could hear the bell, but as years passed, it fell silent for all of them. Even Sarah found one Christmas that she could no longer hear its sweet sounds. Though I’ve grown old, the bell still rings for me, as it does for all who truly believe.” Does the bell ring for you?

If you don’t believe in what you are doing, you will not succeed.

I am going to bet that 95% of you answered YES to the questions above. So did I… but not anymore. With the right training, personal development, and mindset, I BELIEVE!

It’s time to take a serious look in the mirror… you’ve got to BELIEVE to SUCCEED!
