What are backlinks and why would you want them?

Backlinks are a link to your site from somewhere else. The more backlinks you have to your site, the higher page rank of your site.

Are you interested getting on the first page of Google for search results? If so, then you need page rank (and therefore, backlinks).

Andie,

I use wordpress, which I’m sure you do also, and it is my understanding that when you publish a new post, WordPress automatically notifies a list of update services. In my list I do have http://pingoat.com/goat/RPC2 . So my question is why would I individually go to pingoat when it’s automatically taken care of in your wordpress dashboard?

I already tried to do what you said about pingoat.com but after I’ve done all the checking and click go pingoat..this is the next message said……

“submit the right text which is written inside the image”! But the thing is there is no image was display! what a scam!
