Multi-level marketing, or MLM, is a “people business”.  MLM is about developing relationships and building trust, like all businesses.  Have you achieved success with your MLM business?  If not, you may not yet understand The Six Laws of MLM Success. David Wood, Internet Marketing Guru, explained these laws during a recent presentation and I wanted to pass them on to you (so you struggle no longer!).  Now, these will most likely seem very simple and “known”; however, many “MLMers” are not following these.

So, it’s time to lay down the laws…

Law #1 – The Law of Clear Vision
You know…Your “Why”.  Is your “Why” clear?  Why are you in your Company? What are your goals? Are your goals written on paper and are they clear? If not, they need to be. I watched a video from Bill Bartmann  that really changed how I looked at and created my goals (or Promises).  You need to develop a strategic plan. Create your vision and write down ten things that you are going to achieve within one year.  GET TO WORK!

Law #2 – The Law of Direction Action
In Network Marketing, there are two ways to make money: 1) Selling a service/product and 2) recruiting a team of business builders.  You need to focus your actions on what will help you make an income.  You need to sell your products and service and you need to recruit team members.  This is how you will get paid!

Law #3 – The Law of Simple Systems
K.I.S.S. – Keep It Simple Silly!  By having a simple system, your team will grow faster, stronger, larger and most importantly, will last longer if your strategies are simple. The Internet itself can be overwhelming enough… KEEP IT SIMPLE.

Law #4 – The Law of Leadership
People will listen to your ACTIONS. You need to show your team what to do, how to do it, and that you are doing it and getting results.  Do you want people to follow you?  Then, lead by example. “If your actions inspire others to dream more, learn more, do more and become more, you are a leader”. ~John Quincy Adams

Law #5 – Outsourcing
Outsourcing is the key to having freedom in Network Marketing. It is important to understand this.  Your focus needs to be bringing the best people, the mastermind marketers into your business.  DO NOT get caught up answering technical questions from your team.  That’s what Customer Service is for! You have one thing to do in this business… Build Relationships!

Law #6 – Momentum
It is much easier to build your business and team fast, than it is to build slowly.  Bring in a lot of people and bring them into your organization fast.  You need to have a HUGE vision.  Go Fast and Go Big!
