An In-Depth Look with the Young Living Essential Oils Review
When you begin seeking a home based business opportunity, you should make it a point to learn more about who they are and where they are from.
This is because you need to know whether or not you want to be associated with the company and what they appear to stand for. Here is what I found in my research of Young Living Essential Oils.Gary Young and Mary Young, developed an organic herb farm and distillery that was born out of their passion for essential oils.
Gary Young and Mary Young, developed an organic herb farm and distillery that was born out of their passion for essential oils.
Gary had a personal experience with the use of essential oils, but at the time he started using them, he never fully understood how powerful they really were.
Because the grade of oils varies widely, it was difficult for him to determine who had the best offerings. His wife Mary, had previously learned how to work within direct marketing.
The couple decided that with his experience with oils and her experience in direct marketing, they could start their own company and potentially help thousands if not millions not only feel better, but gain freedom through helping them build a home based business.
Once the company was solidly established in 1994, the Young’s were quickly helping people harness the power of this FREEDOM!
Born in Lehi, Utah, the company eventually experienced growth outside of the U.S. and Canada. This Young Living Essential Oils review couldn’t possibly tell you every detail, but it’s no surprise that because Asian cultures have used these oils for centuries that the business was welcome in Singapore and Japan.
Now that you know about the company, where they are from, and how they came to be, I’ll share with you what I discovered on their website about their products and offerings.
Young Living Essential Oils Review on Products
I was hopeful to learn on their website that the products they offer are completely safe for everyone, including children and pets.
While these oils are good for everyone, (barring no allergic reactions), it’s a beautiful thing when a company states that these oils “promote mental clarity”, rather than stating they can cure it.
You’ll find several categories on their website broken down like this.
- Oil singles.
- Oil blends.
- Massage oils.
- Diffusers and tools.
The company appears to have plenty to offer, but this will vary from person to person as much as the quality of oils vary.
You can also find a section called “Home”, where you’ll find every day products like toothpaste, cleaning products, animal care, and even guidance on products for the whole family.
It seems that Young Living Essential Oils has covered all the bases when it comes to products. Do you believe that essential oils is what you’re passionate about?
If so, this could be the company for you. Here is what I discovered about their business plan and compensation. These things are important to know!
Young Living Essential Oils Review with Membership Insights!
I wanted to be clear in this Young Living Essential Oils review that it’s completely neutral, but there are some things you should focus on when researching the company further.
There isn’t a section that says, “Opportunity” like most other websites. It’s a bit confusing when it starts out with testimonials under the section “Member Moments”. It would seem that this could go in a separate section altogether.
If you click on “Member Benefits” once you click on the other tab, you’ll see at the top it does say “Opportunity”. The goal here is to get readers into the mode of thinking about this as a business.
This section does appropriately highlight the following:
- There is a PDF you can pull up to read more about the plan.
- Wholesale pricing. This would mean your discount as a member. They offer a 24% discount for those who are members.
- Essential rewards. Although you get a discount, the site states that you must enroll in this program which is a little confusing. If you are a member, why would you need to enroll to get 20% of an order if you already get 24% off?
- Exclusive experiences. This talks about cruises and company events. Be sure to check out the ability to check out their farms where everything happens.
- Although the business is yours to work, keep in mind that you’ll have a community to offer you support. You’ll need it! It’s nice to have others to go to when you have questions or you just need a bit of encouragement.
- Education and recognition. You’ll be able to get ongoing training with events, newsletters, and seminars. This also means that when you do well, the company focuses on rewarding you. Many companies state a car plan or vacations, but this wasn’t so clear on their website.
I think overall, the company appears to have a sound background. The founders are obviously passionate about the oils and how they work. The Young’s no doubt took great care in learning about the farming process in order to grow what is needed for the oils.
They just took their passion a step further. I do think that the website could be a bit clearer on the compensation, rewards, and other benefits mentioned.
I hope that you found this “Young Living Essential Oils” review helpful, and that you’ll find success no matter which company you choose to start your home business!
